Golden Retriever & Labrador Health Testing

Each puppy in our Golden & labrador breeding program is tested for 40+ genetic conditions, blood type, traits and genetic diversity. We test for Golden & labrador breeding Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) and Golden & labrador Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) in addition to the following health conditions:

This agreement is for the benefit of both the buyer and seller. It is the intent of the breeder to guarantee that each puppy is healthy at the time of adoption or delivery. Therefore, we ask that the buyer makes every reasonable effort to have the puppy examined by a vet within 3 days of possession. Since we cannot control the environment of the puppy after it leaves the breeder, this agreement is null and void if the buyer is negligent in securing a timely vet visit after bringing the puppy home.

Our 1-Year Genetic Health Guarantee

Each of our Golden & labrador puppies comes with a 1-year genetic health guarantee.

Our litters are guarenteed against the genetic conditions of HCM and PKD for their first 1 years of life, which are two of the most prevelant health conditions in the Golden & labrador breeding Breed. We take precautions to decrease the odds of producing Golden & labrador breeds with genetic disorders by testing every puppy in our breeding program prior to breeding. This genetic testing does not guarantee that your puppy will never develop HCM or PKD, but it significantly decreases the risk.

Our 72-Hour Health Guarantee

Fully outlined in our Golden & labrador Adoption Contract

Each of our Golden & labrador puppies comes with a 72-hour health guarantee.

Our puppies are guaranteed for 72 hours against FIV, FeLV and serious, life-threatening health issues. If a licensed veterinarian finds that your puppy has FIV, FeLV or another serious, life-threatening health condition, a refund will be given upon return of the puppy. Your puppy must remain quarantined from all other pets and animals during this 72-hour time period, or else you forfeit the ability to use this guarantee.
